Communication Scholarships

Berne Enslin Memorial – $200 awarded to deserving communication or theatre majors
Aileen B. Trimble Memorial – Variable amounts awarded to communication or mass media students
Walton A. Foster Memorial – $500 awarded to junior or senior communication or mass media students with at least a 2.8 overall GPA and at least a 3.0 GPA in their major field of study
Ed B. Cole Endowment – Variable amounts awarded to incoming freshmen from the Concho Valley majoring in communication or mass media

Dean Chenoweth Scholarship – Variable amounts awarded to students majoring in mass media with financial need and who have demonstrated strong academic ability (Preference is given to graduates of Tom Green County high schools.)
Ed B. Cole Endowment – Variable amounts awarded to incoming freshmen from the Concho Valley majoring in communication or mass media
Millard Cope Scholarship Trust – Variable amounts awarded to outstanding junior and senior mass media majors planning careers in newspaper work
Walton A. Foster Memorial – $500 awarded to junior or senior communication or mass media students with at least a 2.8 overall GPA and at least a 3.0 GPA in their major field of study.
Arlen Lohse Scholarship – Variable amounts awarded to mass media students who have completed at least 30 hours at ASU (an English major may be selected if no mass media major is available)
Long Memorial – Variable amounts awarded to mass media majors, preferably from Eldorado, Texas
Aileen B. Trimble Memorial – Variable amounts awarded to communication or mass media students
Wayland Yates Memorial – Variable amounts awarded to mass media majors
Harrison Youngren Scholarship – Variable amounts awarded to junior or senior students who plan to complete an undergraduate mass media degree at ASU

University Theatre Scholarship – Scholarships are available for students in the performing arts. Interested students should contact the head of the Communications, Mass Media and Theatre Department.

Josephine Bell Fine Arts Scholarships – Variable amounts awarded to fine arts majors
Odene Crawford Fine Arts Scholarship – Variable amounts awarded to deserving junior or senior level students in the fine arts
The Marthas of the First United Methodist Church – Variable amounts awarded to deserving theatre students
Minnie H. Mayer Memorial/Alpha Psi Omega – Variable amounts awarded to theatre majors with at least a 2.50 GPA who have a definite financial need to continue their education at ASU. Students must be members in good standing of Alpha Psi Omega.
Juanita Norris Memorial – Variable amounts awarded to theatre majors
Karl and Mona Malden Drama Scholarship – Variable amounts awarded to theatre majors
Tracy Womack Memorial – Variable amounts awarded to deserving students involved in the production, performance or administration of musical or theatrical events
