Computer Science Tutoring

Want to improve your understanding in a course and be successful in college? Then tutoring is for you and you are in the driver’s seat.

Attend tutoring sessions early in the semester to learn basic building blocks/concepts slowly with assurance to prevent difficulty later in the semester.

Tutors will help:

  • Student write their own code
  • Problem-solving
  • Logic
  • Basic Coding Syntax
  • Error Debugging

Tutors will not:

  • Write code for you
  • Correct a student’s work and/or homework
  • Teach material that you have not read or heard in class

Access the Virtual Tutor Center

CS Tutoring will be online, using Blackboard Collaborate. For other arrangements, contact tutors, faculty or CS Department.

Tutoring sessions will not be held on school holidays, Spring Break: March 13 thru 17,or if ASU Campus is closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Other Tutoring Option

Upswing provides ASU students with 24/7 online tutoring for most undergraduate classes. Go to https://angelo.upswing.io/. Use your ASU email, create an account, choose your subject.


Tutoring is not a substitute for class attendance. Students must be enrolled and attending classes to attend tutoring sessions.
