Testing Center
The Division of Continuing Studies serves as the testing center for Angelo State University.
Tests that are arranged by appointment include:
- College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests
- ACCUPLACER examinations to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements
- Correspondence course examinations
- On-line testing
- Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (both peace officer and jailer) examinations
- Internet testing
- Psychological Services Bureau (PSB) Aptitude for Practical Nursing Examinations
- EPA Freon Certification examinations
In addition, the Division of Continuing Studies coordinates a variety of state and national examination testing sessions including:
- Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA)
- ACT (both national and residual testing sessions)
- Major Field Tests for graduating seniors
- Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Subject Tests
- Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES)
- Examinations for the Certification of Educators in Texas (ExCET)
- Texas Examinations for Master Teachers (TExMAT)
- Texas Oral Proficiency Test (TOPT)
Finally, the Division of Continuing Studies registers Angelo State University students for Local Placement Examinations.
