Workforce Development
To ensure that a trained workforce exists in the Concho Valley, the Division of Continuing Studies provides non-credit classes and certificate programs. This unit works with and surveys local businesses and industries to craft programs tailored to their present and future employment needs. Presently, three certificate programs are available:
- Non-Profit Management Certificate Program
- Effective Employee Supervisory Certificate Program
- Office Assistant Certificate Program
In addition, the Division of Continuing Studies offers two programs on an annual basis:
- Lifeguard Training
- Nursing Home Medication Aide Training Program
All residents of the Concho Valley are welcome to pursue a non-credit course or one of these certificate/training programs to upgrade their existing skills or to prepare for a new career field.
