Angelo State Dual Credit Programs

Angelo State University offers two types of dual credit programs: Regents Scholars Dual Credit Program (on-site) and Presidential Scholars Dual Credit Program (off-site).

Regents Scholars Dual Credit Program: The on-site dual credit program is for students wanting to take classes on the ASU campus in San Angelo. This program is available to students who wish to commute to the ASU campus to take courses in the ASU classrooms with current students.

Presidential Scholars Dual Credit Program (Off-Site): The off-site dual credit program is for students wanting to take dual credit courses on their high school campus. This program is available only to high schools who have a dual credit agreement with ASU. Please check with your high school counselor to determine if your high school is a current ASU Dual Credit partner.

 

ASU Scholarships Available for students after completing the dual credit program:

Current High School Seniors who complete the ASU Regents or Presidential dual credit program with 12 hours and a B or better average are eligible for $1,500/year. 

Current High School Juniors who complete the ASU Regents or Presidential dual credit program with 24 hours and a B or better average are eligible for $1,500/year. 

These scholarships cannot be combined with other Carr Scholarships. Students may qualify for higher Carr Scholarship awards based on their ACT/SAT scores. Check here to learn how to qualify for even more scholarship opportunities.
