Dr. Marilyn Eisenwine

A veteran elementary and early childhood teacher in Texas public schools for 25 years, Dr. Eisenwine received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2000. Her field of study was Curriculum and Instruction, with a specialization in Reading. She received a Master's in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University.

Dr. Eisenwine serves as director of the Pearl of the Concho Writing Project. She has conducted several interdisciplinary action research projects in elementary schools, including technology infusion. Her research interests deal with early intervention and literacy acquisition.
