Dr. James Hademenos
Dr. Hademenos was born in Houston and graduated from John Reagan High School. He served in the U.S. Navy and taught physics in India during a 1967 Summer National Science Foundation Institute. In addition to his work as an educator, Dr Hademenos has been an ordained Greek Orthodox priest since 1988.
Dr. Hademenos received his Bachelor of Science degree in Math/Physics from the University of Houston in 1958. He then went on to receive his Master of Arts in Physics from the University of South Dakota in 1966 and his Doctorate of Philosophy in Biophysics from Syracuse University in 1970.
His current research interests include Piaget's theory on development of the intellect and constructivism as well as math and science education.
Dr. Hademenos has directed 10 international programs, visiting Greece, England, Germany, Holland, France, Switzerland, Scotland and Wales.
