Director of the M.A. Curriculum and Instruction Program for Elementary Education.
The John S. Cargile University Professor of Teacher Education. Dr. Hakes is a Professor of Education in the Department of Teacher Education and currently teaches reading courses and social studies methods as well as graduate courses in reading.
