The First-Year Survey uses a broad range of indicators that pertain to academics, student engagement, ethics, and quality of life on campus at Angelo State University.
GradesFirst is a third-party software tool used to improve communication in and ease scheduling for academic advising. It is also used to measure faculty participation in Early Alert.

IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction includes questions that assess the core learning outcomes embedded in Signature Courses. These courses are new to the University for Fall 2014. Assessment data will be available January 2015.
- Signature Course Group Summary Report
Smart Trac is a University developed software tool that allows SMART Learning staff to track student participation in academic support services. Smart Trac data is reported to the Hispanic Serving Institute Steering Committee annually.
