The Campus

We would like for you to come and visit our state of the art campus! ASU has several opportunities for you to come to campus and visit with us. They are are listed below. If you would like to attend any of the functions, just click on the event and you will be given more information concerning the activity.

Grad School & You - An informal session presented by the Graduate Dean held during each long semester. Gain insightful information concerning graduate school application and admission criteria, GRE/GMAT tests and how to prepare for them, how to finance your education with financial aid/scholarship/graduate assistantship and teaching assistantships.

Discover ASU - Four times a year the University sponsors College Days. Every department on campus is represented at this fair. You can visit our booth or even the department of your interest to learn more about graduate school. You can even schedule a campus tour!

Campus Tours - You will be taken around campus to visit computer labs, lecture halls, class rooms and residence halls. Come see what being a student at ASU is like!

Dining on Campus

The Snack Bar is located in the Houston Harte University Center. The Snack Bar offers a wide variety of food choices for you. Our food court concept includes Blimpe subs, Chick-fil-a, Trattoria pizza, The Fresh Grille, Market Carvery, Ritazza Coffee, Garden Emporium, and the Double Treat Bakery. At the Fresh Grille, the food varies from grilled cheese to Philly steak sandwiches. The Market Carvery, open only at lunch, is our home-cooked line. Carved meats and baked dishes are featured daily.

The Food Service Center is located between Concho Hall and University Hall on the East side of campus. One price gets you in the door. Daily lunch and dinner offerings include rotisserie chicken, pizza, deli bar, 2 soups, 18 topping salad bar, hamburgers, hot dogs, a traditional line with 2 home cooked entrees, 4 desserts, and a complete beverage bar. A great deal you can't pass up.

Special note: Checks or credit cards are not accepted but the Ram Card is accepted. When you set up or add to your Ram Card in the Residence Life Office, credit cards or checks are accepted.

Housing

Angelo State University maintains three residence halls for single men, four residence halls for single women, one furnished apartment complex for single students. Both professional and paraprofessional staff are always available for personal counseling, social and educational programming, and to enhance security of residents. Graduate students who wish to live on campus may live in any of the residence halls. Both halls offer single occupancy rooms with an optional meal plan. Also, available in both halls are laundry facilities and small kitchens for preparing snack-type foods.
