Apply to the Honors Program
Priority Deadline: March 15, 2012
In order to be accepted into the Honors Program, you must complete and submit the following:
- Application Form: The application form can be submitted online.
- Two (2) Reference Forms: The two references must be academic references. Forms may be submitted online.
- Official copies of your most recent high school and, if applicable, college transcripts. Submit to Angelo State University, Office of Admissions, ASU Station #11014, San Angelo, TX 76909-1014.
International Baccalaureate High School Students: Students who successfully complete an International Baccalaureate high school program will receive automatic admission to the Honors Program. They must, however, still complete all application materials necessary for being admitted into the Honors Program.
NOTE: Students must complete the application process to be eligible for admission to the Honors Program.

Admission to ASU
To gain admission to Angelo State University, students must complete a separate application. Admission requirements and the Application for Admission can be found on the Admissions website. Please note that you may apply to the Honors Program while seeking admission to the university.
Apply for Housing:
Students must also apply separately for on-campus housing. Housing applications from new students may be submitted starting in September for the following academic year. Please visit Residential Programs for this and other important housing-related information. New students are encouraged to apply as soon as applications are available.
Rooms in the Honors area of Texan Hall are restricted to Honors Program students, and assignment to the Honors area is guaranteed until July 15 for students who are accepted into the Honors Program. After July 15, any remaining spaces may be made available to students who are not formally in the Honors Program, but who meet academic criteria for Honors housing. Students must be officially accepted to ASU before a housing assignment can be made.
