Honors Student Criteria
Entering Freshman
Students who do not meet the criteria are encouraged to contact the Honors Program Officer.
- Top 10% of High School Class
- ACT Score of 27 or SAT Score of 1200 (Combined Reading and Math)
- Extracurricular Activities
- Completed Honors Program Application, and two academic references, using the Honors Program Reference Form.
- Agree to follow the current Honors Student Handbook
Transfer Students or Spring Admission Students
- 3.25 GPA or better
- Top 10% of High School Class (College GPA may substitute)
- ACT Score of 27 or SAT Score of 1200 (Combined Reading and Math)
- Extracurricular Activities
- Completed Honors Program Application, and two academic references, using the Honors Program Reference Form
- Agree to follow the current Honors Student Handbook.
International Baccalaureate High School Students
- Students who successfully complete an International Baccalaureate high school program will receive automatic admission to the Honors Program. They must, however still complete all application materials necessary for being admitted into the Honors Program.
- Completed Honors Program Application, and two academic references, using the Honors Program Reference Form
- Agree to follow the current Honors Student Handbook.
