Dr. Flynn would like to personally thank the members of the Honors Council who were so instrumental in getting this program off the ground. Purpose
The purpose of the Honors Council is to assist the director in the overall development of the Honors Program and to provide program oversight. The Honors Council is expected to help formulate and review the policies, programs and procedures of the Honors Program. Areas where the Honors Council will help the director shall include curriculum decisions, evaluating Honors Program student applications and involvement in Honors Program activities. Essentially, the Honors Council serves as a board of directors for the Honors Program. Members also act as sounding board and source of guidance for the director.
