Dental Insurance
Benefits eligible employees and faculty have a choice of two dental plans. A summary of these is provided below:
Dental Choice Plan (GEHA):
Employees may use any licensed dentist (higher benefits are received when network dentists are used). The plan has an annual deductible and coverage is based upon years of participation in the plan. For example:
- Policy year 1 includes preventive care and fillings only
- Policy year 2 adds major restorative procedures
- Policy year 3 adds orthodontia.

Dental Maintance Plan (AETNA):
Employees must use a network dentist, and the plan is set up on a series of copayments.
