Italy - Greece 2009
The 2009 International Studies Program to Italy and Greece to be conducted May 22 – June 21, 2009, will provide approximately 25 students (20 undergraduate and 5 graduate) a unique opportunity to study the evolution of international business, trade and various public policy issues, focusing on the impact a wealthy country such as Italy has in the European Union, as opposed to the impact of a relatively poor country such as Greece. Do the benefits accruing to the Union brought by poorer members justify the relatively high costs to the richer member states? What are these benefits and costs, and what is the ultimate impact of the European Union on international politics, business and trade? The program will focus on answering these, as well as other, questions while traveling through the host countries.
