Before You Arrive

Tuition & Payment Information

International Students

Pay tuition before the semester begins.

To pay your bill online:

  1. Log in to RamPort.
  2. Click on “Rams” icon at the top of the page.
  3. Go to “View or Pay My Bill by Term.”
  4. Select “Pay Now” or “Installment Plan” at the bottom of page.

ELLI Students

ELLI students must pay by the 10th day of class.

Cost estimate: Tuition and fees for English Language Learning Institute (ELLI) students

ELLI students can pay their bill before they come on Flywire or after they arrive on RamPort.

ASU Mobile

ASU Mobile is the official app for Angelo State!

Use the app to:

  • Add/Drop classes
  • View details on any holds on your account
  • View and pay your bill
  • Buy your books
  • Access your class schedule with a map

Housing and Meal Plans

Learn more about where you will be living at Angelo State on the housing website. You will also select a housing meal plan.

Technology Account

RamPort is used to access your schedule, books and other information for classes. Access your email by logging into RamPort.

After You Arrive

Rambunctious Week

Rambunctious Week is Angelo State’s welcome week that helps kick off the fall semester every year. Students are invited to participate in activities to help them meet other students and transition to college life.

Activities vary from a tailgate party with student clubs to a spirit rally and a barbecue with water inflatables at the ASU Lake House. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this great introduction to college life!

Ram Tram

The Ram Tram is a free weekend bus service with stops at great locations for shopping, eating and entertainment. Bring your OneCard student ID to ride.

OneCard

Your OneCard is your student ID. Use your OneCard for Ram Tram, sporting events, and much more.

Books

Buy your books from the ASU bookstore in the University Center or on the bookstore website.

You can check what books you need to buy on RamPort by looking at your course schedule.

ELLI students will purchase books after classes start. Book lists are provided by the instructor on the first day of class.

Shopping and Eating

  • HEB grocery store is within walking distance of campus, or you can take the Ram Tram.
  • Items you must buy for your residence hall room:
    • Sleeping gear: sheets size twin extra-long, blanket, pillow
    • Hangers
    • Bath products: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste
    • Laundry detergent, dish soap
    • Towels
    • Laundry hamper

Register for Classes

You must speak with your academic advisor before you can register for classes. Once your advising hold is removed, you will register using RamPort.

ELLI students will be placed in classes appropriate to their English level. ELLI students do not need to register for classes online.
