Biography: Dr. Doyle Carter came to Angelo State University during the summer of 2006 after serving most recently as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Kinesiology at Lubbock Christian University. Dr. Carter began his career in 1983 as a high school teacher and coach. In higher education, he has also served a college dean and a department chair.
In addition to his duties as Head of the Department, and Director of Graduate Programs, Dr. Carter currently teaches Motor Development, Foundations of Kinesiology, Tests and Measurement, Leadership Applications (graduate), and Administering Special Events and Activities(graduate). Dr. Carter serves on numerouse campus committees and is a member of NAKPEHE and TAHPERD.
