Dr. Bailey is a Distinguished Professor of Mathematics Emeritus. Dr. Bailey joined Angelo State University in 1968 and served as the head of the Department of Mathematics from 1982 until 2004. In 2004, Dr. Bailey stepped down as department head in anticipation of retiring. Dr. Bailey fully retired in the spring of 2006.
