Interests:

I completed my education in Michigan where I taught at Spring Lake High School for a year and worked as an engineer for General Telephone of Michigan for two years. Upon moving to Texas, I worked as an engineer for General Telephone of the Southwest for two years, taught at Wall ISD for seven years, taught at Howard College for two years, and then came to Angelo State University. I belong to professional organizations, including the Mathematical Association of America, the Texas Academy of Science, and the Association of Texas Professional Educators. I am married with two children. I enjoy hunting, sewing, and shooting pool. Academically, I enjoy participating in the problem-solving group in the department and the student-related activities, such as the Slowpitch Seminars, the Mathematics Teachers of Tomorrow Club, and the meetings of the Mathematical Association of America.
