Math Clubs
Mathematical Association of America - ASU Student Chapter
The chapter works to promote the enjoyment of mathematics and to build camaraderie among students and faculty. Monthly meetings are held at noon, and lunch is usually provided.
We are involved in various events throughout the year, such as the Slowpitch Seminars and the Mobius Strip competition. We also attend the annual spring meeting of the Texas Section of the MAA. This two-day conference brings together students and faculty from colleges across the state. It gives everyone the opportunity to meet new people and attend informative presentations and lectures.
Anyone curious about mathematics is invited to join. For more information, contact either Dr. Dionne Bailey or Dr. Andrew Siefker.
MT²
Any student interested in teaching mathematics is invited to join MT². Monthly meetings are held at noon, lunch is usually provided and a short presentation is given. For more information, contact Dr. Paul Swets.
