Current Student Programs

The Angelo State Multicultural Center helps students transition smoothly to college life and meet their goals along the way.

We host several programs specifically for first-generation students, or students who are the first in their families to attend college. These programs are designed to help students be successful during their first year at Angelo State.


  • Multicultural ActivitiesMulticultural Activities

    Each month, the multicultural center hosts an activity highlighting a different cultural heritage or holiday. These events are held in the Houston Harte University Center and are open to all members of the ASU community.

  • Multicultural Advisory Council (MAC)

    The Multicultural Advisory Council is a diverse group of leaders that seeks to broaden traditional definitions of the term multicultural.

  • Pride ProjectThe Pride Project

    The Pride Project was established to provide education and support for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) students and allies.
