Information for:

Multicultural Advisory Council (MAC)

The Multicultural Advisory Council is a diverse group of leaders that seeks to broaden traditional definitions of the term multicultural. Student representatives from the cultural organizations on campus as well as at-large student representatives comprise the council.

We look for students who possess a passion for educating the campus community about a variety of multicultural topics and issues.

MAC Pep Talks

MAC invites professional faculty and staff from ASU and leaders in the San Angelo community to share their stories to students and provide tools for student motivation and leadership skills.

Cross-Cultural Events

The Multicultural Center offers opportunities to learn and embrace diversity at Angelo State. The center works collaboratively with student organizations as well as academic and administrative departments to provide opportunities to learn about differences, while also recognizing similarities.
