AFTER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING THE ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE IN NURSING DEGREE PROGRAM,STUDENTS CAN TAKE THE TEXAS STATE BOARD OF NURSE EXAMINERS REGISTERED NURSE (RN) LICENSURE EXAMINATION.

Nursing (RNSG) courses are offered in specific semesters. They cannot be combined. The nursing course sequence will take 2 years to complete from the 1st year fall semester nursing courses.

Students should read the University Catalog to be aware of prerequisite courses for each semester of the nursing program.
