Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)

Curriculum Schedule

This entry-level graduate professional program in the clinical arts and sciences of physical therapy follows a bachelor’s degree (including prerequisites) and requires 36 months of full-time graduate study (including summers). The annual start date for the DPT program is the first summer term. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.).

D.P.T. Classes

The DPT program curriculum includes a three-year program of study with three (3) clinical rotations: eight weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks.

Program Admission

Admission to ASU’s physical therapy program is selective and competitive. Meeting the baseline admission requirements for the College of Graduate Studies and the physical therapy program does not guarantee admission to the physical therapy program.
