Pre-Engineering
ASU physics and applied physics majors can transfer to several undergraduate programs in Texas Tech University’s College of Engineering. Participating TTU engineering departments in this agreement are:
- Mechanical
- Electrical and Computer
- Chemical
- Petroleum
Requirements
ASU physics and applied physics students need to earn a C or better in these courses:
- Chemistry I
- Calculus I
Students typically transfer after one or two years at ASU. Please see the list of ASU courses that transfer to TTU.
Distance Learning Course
While at ASU, students also have the option of taking the TTU course Engineering 1315, an entry-level course that is a requirement for all engineering students. The course is available through distance learning, but students must apply and be admitted to TTU before enrolling in the course.
