Undergraduate Degree Programs
Undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Work emphasize contemporary theories, research and the useful application of knowledge to current problems experienced by people, both individually and collectively. Students receive hands-on training and have access to the department’s simulation lab, which allows them to participate in scenarios similar to what they will experience in the field.
Teaching styles in the department vary from lecture and discussion to media presentations. Students work independently and in teams, acquiring leadership and academic skills that translate well into the workplace.
