Research Interests: “My laboratory work focuses on diverse topics such as motivation, time attitudes, workload and attitudes about how to deal with mistakes we make. I also do field work with pharmacies and hospitals, focusing on medication error and patient safety. This work has emphasized human factors, but I am currently expanding its scope to include occupational health variables such as stress and burnout. Finally, I am the editor and chief author of the PharmSafety continuing education series available on the Web at www.pharmsafety.org.”
