State of the Art Residence Hall Living
Texan Hall represents "state of the art" residence hall living. Texan Hall features 496 all private rooms in two person units. An exciting addition to the standard "room" is the small shared living and snack preparation areas. This unique blend of residence hall and "apartment" means that you get the best of both worlds. Each floor has a large lounge for socializing and recreation, separate study areas and a centrally located laundry room and vending area. Privacy and interaction- you'll find both at Texan Hall!
Texan Hall C & D 300's floors are home to the academic Honors housing area. Students desiring to live in Texan Hall on the designated Honors housing floor(s) must meet at least one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Acceptance into the Honors Program
- Entering student with a minimum ACT score of 27 or SAT score of 1200
- Entering student who graduated in the top 10% of their high school class.
- Continuing students with a minimum of a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

- Carpeted, furnished "Living room" area in each 2-person unit
- Snack preparation area in each 2-person unit equipped with: 2 microfridges, microwave, sink and cabinets
