Carr Hall

Women’s special interest housing

By the end of the year, residents in Carr Hall typically know the names of all the 90 or so students who live there. In this women-only residence hall, programming and personal development opportunities have a special focus on empowering and celebrating the contribution of women.

The stylish décor of the residence hall is also geared toward women and includes informational wall hangings on influential women throughout history. Members of this close-knit community can frequently be found playing games together in the lounge area or cooking group meals in the large kitchen facility with a dining table that seats 12.

Carr Hall is on the west end of campus near the library, University Center and Carr Education-Fine Arts Building. Several academic buildings are also just a short walk away.
The bathrooms are scheduled for complete renovation during summer 2009. Carr Hall is No. 34 on the interactive map.
