The Massie Halls

A long tradition of campus and community involvement

These two facilities, Robert Massie Residence Hall and Mary Massie Residence Hall, provide close-knit co-ed communities that each house 175 students. The Massie Halls have the largest closet space of all on-campus housing. The buildings are designed to muffle the sounds of neighboring rooms, giving students the quiet they need to study or relax.

Two students share a room and bathroom. Each room includes new furniture, a new bathroom countertop and new laminate flooring. The spacious floor plan gives students room to move around. The Massie Halls are co-ed units, meaning men and women may be neighbors, but not roommates. Large common areas house big-screen TVs and study rooms are big enough to accommodate groups working together on class projects.

These residence halls house freshmen as well as upperclassmen. Programming is developed to help students get involved in their community. The Massie Halls are on the east end of campus near the Food Service Center, recreational areas and academic buildings. Mary Massie is No. 35 and Robert Massie is No. 36 on the interactive map.
