Annual JROTC Drill Meet Hosted by Det 847
Mark your calendars! 11 April 2015!
ASU’s AFROTC Detachment 847 will be hosting it’s annual Drill Meet on April 11, 2015, and this years event looks to be bigger and better than ever! For the first time we will be waiving all registration fees, and providing lunch to all participants at no cost! We will also be partnering with Goodfellow Air Force Base and local active duty recruiters to host a military fair including a military working dog team and Marine Corps combatives demonstration team.
Come see what it takes to be crowned No. 1 by one of the best university ROTC detachments in the country. This is your chance to:
- Compete against JROTC units from around the state.
- Visit ASU and Air Force ROTC detachment facilities.
- Interact with college cadets, instructors, and military members.
- Earn individual or unit awards.
Lunch will be provided at no cost by the ASU cafeteria!
Overnight accommodations are available in Concho Hall for $20 per person per night, on a first come, first serve basis.
In addition to the military and academic fairs, schools will compete in the following categories:
- Armed and Unarmed Regulation
- Saber Team
- Armed Tandem
- Armed Individual
- Warrior Challenge
- Color Guard
