Successful Student

• Attend class regularly.
• Refer to and follow the class syllabus often.
• Read assigned text and additional readings before each class.
• Listen and take notes during lectures.
• Review class notes every day and make a list of questions that need to be answered.
• Compare class notes with other students.
• Visit your professors during office hours to ask questions.
• Think about course materials between class meetings.
• Plan ahead so you do not have to cram for exams or write rushed papers.
• Attend SI sessions regularly – at least once a week.
