Experiential Leadership Course

Overview

The Experiential Leadership Course (ELC) prepares students of any major to be leaders within their respective fields. The ELC takes a fun, outdoor-centric approach to teaching leadership, judgment, and decision-making.

  • Program Cost

    Program Cost

    The total program cost is $255 per participant. Once accepted into the program, the cost may be paid in full, or in three installments with the balance due before December 1.

    Cost Includes

    • All meals, transportation, lodging, and camping equipment

    • Two American Red Cross Certifications good for two years

      • CPR/AED
      • Wilderness & Remote First Aid

    • Texas Outdoor Leadership Conference registration

    • Textbook

    • Two technical t-shirts

    • One 32 ounce Nalgene water bottle

    • One 20 ounce Yeti Tumbler

    • Graduation ceremony ticket and one guest

Application

The application process opens Rambunctious Week and closes the first Friday of October. Candidates are encouraged to thoroughly review the application packet linked to the right, and complete an online application. Well-qualified candidates will be interviewed with the final eight candidates being selected in mid-October.
