Camp UREC - Offered every summer

The purpose of ASU Camp UREC is to provide a sport and development experience for boys and girls ages 4–13 years old and to develop a wide variety of fundamental physical activity skills that are inherent to a healthy lifestyle and a lifetime of physical fitness.

Camp UREC is lead by specially trained Angelo State University students. These camp counselors are passionate about sport and youth development. After rigorous training and background checks, the camp counselors develop a specific progression of lesson plans throughout the Summer. The curriculum they facilitate focuses on exposure to the University, developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and sport specific development.

All fees must be paid in full on or before the first day of the session. Campers will be registered on a “first come-first serve” basis. Refunds will not be issued.

  • What To Bring For Camp

Campers need to bring an appropriate swimsuit, flip flops, tennis shoes and towel every day as well as a sack lunch and a drink (preferably water). Lunches should be packed in a lunch box/paper sack. Campers are NOT permitted to use vending machines during camp hours.
