The purpose of ASU Camp UREC is to provide a sport and development experience for boys and girls ages 4–13 years old and to develop a wide variety of fundamental physical activity skills that are inherent to a healthy lifestyle and a lifetime of physical fitness.

Sports Camp Structure
Camp programs for children ages 4–8 will be based upon developing fundamental gross and fine motor skills that set the stage for success in sport performance later in life. Lead-up games in traditional and non-traditional physical activities will be the primary focus.
Campers ages 9–13 will experience developmental instruction in softball, volleyball, badminton, flag football, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, swimming, and cooperative games. The emphasis is for campers to develop competent to proficient skills in these activities.
There are two ways to register.
Register In Person
Stop by the Center for Human Performance building, Room 112, between 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., complete a registration application, and provide payment in the form of cash, credit, or check (made payable to: Angelo State University). If the fee is not paid in full, a $50 non-refundable deposit must be submitted to reserve the child’s place in the session, which will be applied to the child’s registration fee.
Fill out our online registration form. You may register for multiple sessions at once or register for sessions individually. Online registration requires the full payment at the time of registration.
All fees must be paid in full on or before the first day of the session. Campers will be registered on a “first come-first serve” basis. Refunds will not be issued.
What to Bring for Camp
Campers need to bring an appropriate swimsuit, flip flops, tennis shoes and towel every day as well as a sack lunch and a drink (preferably water). Lunches should be packed in a lunch box/paper sack. Campers are NOT permitted to use vending machines during camp hours.
Camp UREC is not a behavior modification camp. Our counselors are Angelo State University students. If a camper does not display appropriate behavior, the director retains the right to suspend or terminate the child from the camp. No refund will be issued.

Monday–Friday; 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Each session is $100.
Session I: June 2 - 6
Session II: June 9 - 13
Session III: June 16 - 20
Session IV: June 23 - 27
Session V: July 14 - 18
Session VI: July 21 - 25
Session VII: July 28 - Aug. 1
Session VIII: Aug. 4 - 8
Session IX: Aug. 11 - 15
Pre-Camp and Post-Camp
Staff will be available to supervise children during Pre-Camp and Post-Camp activities 7:30–9 a.m. and 3–5:30 p.m. This is a flat rate regardless if a child stays the entire Pre-Camp or Post-Camp.
Pre-Camp is $20 per session, and Post-Camp is $40 per session. Additionally, guardians who pick-up children after 5:30 p.m. will be charged a $10 fee for the first 15 minutes; thereafter, they will be charged $2 per minute.
