Summer Programs
- provided to students currently enrolled in public schools;
- subjects include study skills, time management, making right choices, career day, and other interesting topics.
Hamburger Fest
- a luncheon provided to all students enrolled in the program;
- this event provides an opportunity for all participants to gather as one group of Up and Coming Scholars;
- both public school and university students participating are invited to attend.
Financial Aid Night
- provided to participants completing their senior year of high school and planning to attend ASU;
- provides instruction on completing federal and university financial aid forms, as well as announcing important deadlines that must be met.
Mid-Term Madness
- provided to currently enrolled college freshmen as a means to meet as scholarship recipients;
- topics include discussion of deadlines for dropping classes, fulfilling scholarship requirements, and computing their GPA.
Graduation Celebration
- Celebration of the graduation of high school seniors active in the program.
- Graduates receive an honor cord to wear at their high school graduation ceremony.
- An Up and Coming Scholar enrolled at ASU discusses the college experience.
