Lori Garrahan

My name is Lori Garrahan, and I am a peer tutor in the Writing Center. I am a graduating senior with a major in English and a minor in history. I used to be a Korean linguist in the Army, which was a challenging job, though not near as challenging as raising two rambunctious sons! Now that my boys are college age, it seemed like a good time to finish my own degree. I have a special affinity for nontraditional students, of course, but also for those students who are entering college and may feel that there are things they just did not get from high school. The Writing Center is here to help make those transitions a little easier.
