Zeth Collom

Hi! I'm Zeth Collom, and I am very excited about returning as a peer tutor for the Writing Center! I hope several of ASU's students will come by and see all of us in the Writing Center, so we don't “vegge” out too often. We really love seeing new and familiar faces every day and sharing our knowledge of the writing process.

While I could probably list my favorite novels on less than two hands, the British and American Romantics, contemporary American short stories, many of Shakespeare's plays, and the correlation between rock'n'roll and film with literature totally rock my socks. In May, I will be the first in my family to graduate with a college degree! Although I'm not quite sure what I'll do with a BA in English and minors in Drama and Psychology (and possibly French, too), I anticipate either continuing my literary studies at ASU or attending a communication disorders program to eventually become a speech pathologist.

Outside of being a full-time nerd, I enjoy classic rock'n'roll (especially Fleetwood Mac), participating in ASU's theatre and choir programs, eating almost anything, and working out. I love to go fishin' and swimmin' (yes, that's without the “g”s) and family very much.
