Description of Activity
Students
will pick a problem from the problem stack.
They will then solve the problem and look for their answer in the answer
car. Next they will look in the
answer key tire to check their work. If
they get the problem right, they will move their car to the first line on the
racetrack. Then they will answer
another problem and so on.
Extension Ideas
This can be
used for all types of math problems. If
next week they are studying equations, you just have them solve equations in
order to move down the racetrack.
