I recommend that you purchase deerskin gloves by Conroy (like the ones carried by Sierra Trading Post) and a good headlamp (such as Petzel Zoom carried by Avinet or other camping supply places. The gloves from Sierra Trading Post are catalog number 51000 for Men and 51010 for women and they run $15.75.
