Introduction

The first week of this lab you will become familar with the software and run a series of experiments, in small tanks, aimed at discovering what catfish need to live and to grow. This information will help you make sound decisions the second week.

The second week you will try to take your knowledge of catfish biology and scale it up to a commercial operation.  You will borrow millions of dollars to purchase young fish with the goal of making $250,000 profit at the end of the year.  Not bad work but if the fish all die the bank won’t be happy.

This week there is a pre-lab quiz and the class activity.
