Kindergarten TEKS Resources
Kindergarten TEKS Resources
Technology
is part of the every day life. I
will need a variety of resources to teach kindergarten and to insure that I
cover all Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS). The following websites give many integrating technology
ideas, interactive lessons and games, variety of teaching methods, and the
needed resources to teach kindergarten.
I will be able to provide parents with information when they ask for it. If parents need information to
supplement school work, ideas to incorporate at home, extra help with work, and
developmentally appropriate activities, I will be able to give them some of the
following websites to find the information needed. The websites include student sites, teacher sites, and
parent sites. The layout following
includes the title of the website, its URL, and a brief explanation.

is out there to be accessed. In
the process of finding the above sites, I found sites that were not user
friendly. I did not include those
sites because they were not the best sites. The websites have a variety of resources that will be an
asset to kindergarten teachers.
They range from lesson plans to interactive activities for the students
and parents. The last few are
preschool sites, but can be used with kindergarten also.
