    December 11, 2014 - The Friends of the Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection will host its second annual “picture party” to identify people and locations in historical Concho Valley photographs on Tuesday, Jan 6, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemont Drive, on the Angelo State University campus.

  • History Profs Win NEH Grant
    December 10, 2014 - Dr. Christine Lamberson and Dr. Kanisorn Wongsrichanalai, faculty in Angelo State University’s History Department, have been awarded a three-year, $99,982 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to preserve the experiences of West Texas military veterans and their families from World War I to the present and to examine how those experiences have changed or remained the same over the past century.

    December 8, 2014 - More than 500 students are scheduled to graduate during Angelo State University’s fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena, 2235 S. Jackson St.
