The Purpose of Alpha Phi Omega

The purpose of this Fraternity shall be to assemble college students in a National Service Fraternity in the fellowship of the principles of the Boy Scouts of America as embodied in the Scout Oath and Law; to develop Leadership, to promote Friendship and provide Service to humanity; and to further the freedom that is our national, educational and intellectual heritage.

What is APO all about?

1.LEADERSHIP
Each Chapter has different positions of leadership with differing responsibilities. This allows everyone in the group to be a leader in one form or another, yet still work as a team.

2.FRIENDSHIP
A strong sense of fellowship develops from the time the group spends together. Participating in service programs as well as the group¡¯s social activities helps everyone form a bond and become friends for life.

3.SERVICE
Our numerous projects for the school, community, nation, and fraternity are what make Alpha Phi Omega so special. It has become the nation's largest and most respected service fraternity.
