About the ASPTA
The Angelo State Physical Therapy Association (ASPTA) is a student organization at Angelo State Univerity, in San Angelo,
Texas.
Membership is open to any student (graduate or undergraduate) or faculty member interested in physical therapy. If you're interested in joining, look for fliers or contact an officer and ask what is required to join and about being added our Blackboard group, where announcements of upcoming events, a roster of members, and other information can be found.
If you're interesting in contacting the organization in regards to possibly being involved with your event, e-mail one of the officers.
The organization has been involved in a variety of community and university
activities including: WTRC Spring Chicken Affair, KLST Fall Festival, campus bake sale in 2006,
trick-or-treated for canned food in 2007, Special Olympics (FunFitness), Sonrisas Therapeutic Riding (2006), and
health fairs / screenings in the community and at ASU. Future activities may include a blood drive,
helping with elementary school field days, doing health consultation for the poor, among other activities.
