Alcohol and Drug Policy
ALCOHOL POLICY
The Rugby Club is NOT allowed to have alcohol on school premises before, during or after our matches (cup match or otherwise).
This policy includes away games as well. If we know that any player has drank before the match (Friday evening or Saturday), they will not be allowed to play. Regarding distribution, any current player that is found to distribute alcohol to other players during this time frame will not only be banned from the current game, but will have to sit out the next game as well. Any former player that is caught distributing alcohol will be banned from attending matches for
a period of one year; additionally, their name will be turned into campus police with the instructions that a criminal trespass charge will be filed if they return to the pitch before their ban time is up.
DRUG POLICY
Any current player that is found to have taken any form of illegal drug will be banned from the club until they can substantiate that they have received treatment and that they have been clean for one month. Anybody (player or otherwise) found to distribute
illegal drugs to another player will receive a life-long ban from the rugby club and their name will be turned into campus police with the instructions that a criminal trespass charge be filed if they attend any club function that is on campus.
