Screeners originally formed as an unofficial group of students

who gathered together to watch movies. This informal group

was extremely popular and over time prompted the formation

of an official asu student organization. However, the club began

to shift towards a more non-traditional focus.

In the Spring of 2007, Screeners was resurrected and began establishing

itself as an organization to promote, discuss, and encourage participation

of ASU students in the pursuit of knowledge through domestic and foreign film.

Screeners offers companionship and support in the shared interest of the visual arts.

It's also a pretty fun group to join-- we plan fun events and provide

food and prizes. And watch movies. Free food + movies. Who wouldn't join this club?
