Sisterhood

Sisterhood is a shoulder to cry on when you are sad. Someone to talk to when you feel as if your world is crashing down around you. Someone to share you inner-most secrets with. To share the bad times with the good. Remembering the times you sat around just talking about the good time you had last night. Watching a movie all cuddled up together. Laughing because your sister just made a fool of herself, and you know she’s laughing inside to. Taking long walks in the afternoon with a sister because you enjoy her company. Giggling together at the rumors you two heard the other day. Chasing each other around the middle of the campus. Driving far distances in a small cramped car just because you know she will have some funny song to sing or a silly story to tell you. Calling her up in the middle of the night crying because things are not working out with Mr. so and so. Drying her tears because you know everything will work out, and you know that you will always be there for her. To come home to tell her that everything has worked out as she said it would. To share the great memories together as sisters knowing she will also remember those times too. The quiet, sad talks you have because you know how much you are going to miss her when she goes. But, the happiness inside knowing that you will always have the special bond of being sisters.
