Student Reading Council @ ASU
A Student Organization for Future Teachers!

Welcome to Angelo State University’s Student Reading Council…a student organization for pre-service teachers.

Our number one goal is to give you the foundations that will one day motivate you to become involved in the many professional organizations that exist for teachers in the workplace today.  At each meeting we try to provide you with valid experiences related to teaching language arts, such as: make-it-take-its, workshops, conferences, book fairs, conversations with authors themselves, and much more!  We are working hard on providing activities for ALL College of Education students.

The Student Reading Council is a student organization affiliated with Angelo State University’s College of Education. We are dedicated to promoting literacy in the Concho Valley and organizing professional development opportunities for pre-service teachers.
