A Message From the Chair…

The Staff Senate acts as an organized voice to promote the general interests of the staff. We disseminate information, provide opportunities for staff members to serve the university, and through Staff Senate meetings, we provide an open forum for the free expression of ideas and concerns.

I have the great pleasure of chairing the 2011-2012 Staff Senate. We have a great group of senators who are ready and willing to make a difference and I look forward to the coming year.

I invite all staff to participate in the Staff Senate’s meetings and activities. Meetings are the third Monday of each month and we depend on input from the staff to set the direction of the meetings. If you have suggestions or issues that concern you, please contact your staff senator, complete an agenda request form or make a suggestion.
