Additionally, if your student is still struggling to find an appropriate major, our Career Development office has staff and resources to help your student find a career field that would be a good fit.

Campus Safety

Your student’s safety is a top priority for us. The University Police Department provides law enforcement protection to the campus community.

Here are a few efforts we have made to ensure your student’s safety and security:

  • 24-hour campus police patrol
  • 16 emergency call boxes strategically located across campus that provide a direct line to police
  • ASUAlert campus emergency notification system that sends time-sensitive messages via text and phone calls

The University Police website contains crime prevention tips and emergency management information. University Police also maintain a daily crime log that is open to the public and includes all crimes reported to the ASU police.

Health Clinic and Counseling Services

The University Health Clinic and the Center for Counseling Services provide confidential services to ASU students who have paid the Medical Services Fee as part of their tuition and fees.

The University Clinic provides diagnostic services and treatments on an outpatient basis. The Counseling Center provides counseling to students dealing with the challenges of college life. Please encourage your student to take advantage of these helpful resources.
